Rare recordings dating back 15 years, buried and forgotten, exhumed and stoned.

At the end of 2008, between the cold and lonely nights, many compositions had been forged for OLD THRONE and despite the few resources, I thought I was prepared to start recording their first album, but I was terribly mistaken. The little knowledge of music production soon became clear and the result of the initial recordings of this first album was frustrating.

Some of these recorded songs had some errors and an atmosphere that I didn't like and I thought it was better to keep them. Months later, I went back to recording OLD THRONE's first album and finally got the result I had been waiting for, the name of the album is “Eu Me Arrasto para o Meu Próprio Abismo / I Drag Myself to My Own Abyss” and it was released in 2010, but what about the recordings? initials from the end of 2008 that were saved? Well, after 15 years, here they are together in this Demo.

The Demo “Da Montanha ao Abismo / From the Mountain to the Abyss” has 4 tracks totaling 25 minutes of total misanthropy.

All of these tracks were recorded, mixed and mastered between the end of 2008 and the beginning of 2009 and were remastered in October 2023. Two of these tracks are among the best known and appreciated by the real Black Metal scene “Na Minha Montanha - Parte 2” and “Eu Me Arrasto para o Meu Próprio Abismo” in their now more primitive and chaotic versions.

Enjoy this rare record of OLD THRONE without moderation and may the dark aura emanated by my Black Metal feed the emptiness in your mind and take you to the cold, gray and lifeless world in which I live.
